Haven

This beautiful Percheron gelding was rescued from the slaughter pipeline in remembrance of Teresa Lynn "Bunny" Fittin, who went missing at age 18. She has not been found. Haven is a gentle giant and his deformed ears add to his adorableness. Haven is currently in a training program as an outreach advocate for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Gemstone: Light Aqua & Gray Agate - these are calming and soothing stones that bring comfort to those that have suffered any trauma. It is said that wearing these stones stabilizes emotions and improves focus.

Fun at the Farm

Haven has had fun being our rescued unicorn and stands quietly for many hugs. Although his ears are deformed he has no problems hearing or posing for cameras. He loves treats!

Best of Friends

Haven's best friend is Anastasia. Before Anastasia arrived at the rescue, she was badly abused and neglected - causing her to completely distrust humans. Haven has become her guardian and they are inseparable. Haven escorts her everywhere and we're sure they've swapped some incredible life stories.

Freedom Ride

Haven was pulled out of the slaughter pipeline through a lot of teamwork. Here he is like a huge puppy enjoying the ride. The rig stopped to close his window quickly after, but the look on his face was priceless.
